The forecast for Sunday night is:  freezing rain until 4 am then turning to rain. The forecast for Monday is worse: 49 degrees and an 80% chance of rain.

2012 Mulch Orders due on March 16th

2012 Mulch Order Form has been posted in the Files Section of the Menu on right

Mulch sales are beginning for the 2012 season! This is a great fund raiser for both the Troop and the individual Scout.  The Scout will earn $.75 per bag into his Scout Account for each bag he sells. Last year the top selling Scouts earned as much as $300+!

Presentation by Mountain View Farm @ Hillsboro Ruritan Club Dinner

Attila and the Blue Ridge. Attila Agoston, of Mountain View Farm, an adjunct of the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship, will speak at an open meeting of the Hillsboro Ruritan Club at Grandale Farm Restaurant on Jan 19th at 7 PM.  The talk will include the work of Mountain View, an organic farm, in exploring the relationships between food cultivation and essential ecological values. Mr. Agoston will also discuss the work of the Environmental Center and public access to its programs.  Dinner will be served for $17.00.  For reservations, Interested persons should contact Lee Walker at ss564311@aol.com.
