Each scout attending is going to need the items listed below:

Automotive Merit Badge, March 9, 1 - 4:30 pm Second of Three Sessions, to be held Exxon Round Hill Gas Station

Posted on Mar 4 2014 - 10:24pm
  Mr Wallace 540-554-2992, 703-727-4186 C ; Mr Lopez 540-751-9015 H, 540-687-1776 C

I know all you senior Scouts have been eye balling your parent's older car, Grandpa's car, or that hot rod down the street for your first car. Many of you will turn 15.5 yrs of age for your learners' permit well before earning Eagle Scout. Some of you are already driving Mom and Dad's car to scout meetings, but how many of you know how to change radiator fluid, add correct tire pressure, or how to change a flat tire on an uneven road with that little road jack in the trunk?

Thurs. Sept 5, 7PM at Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness

Posted on Sep 12 2013 - 3:47pm
Hi Folks,
Please remember that for THIS week's Troop meeting (Thursday night Sept 5, starting at 7PM) we will be setting up the parking field in preparation for the Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness grand opening. We'll put up signs, as well as reflectors and bright tape, and separate entrance and exit-ways. If they are ready, and we have time, we can certainly do more, like setting up tables and chairs if the 100x40 tent is up by that time.

If we finish the work early, we may finish the meeting in their main Lodge.

Summer Camp - Rock Enon - Gear List

Posted on Jul 6 2013 - 9:43am

Sent by Brian Ferrenz, ASM

Howdy Troop!!!
This is a the first in a series of Assistant Scoutmaster reminder emails for our upcoming trip to Camp Rock Enon!  In this first installment, I am attaching a list of gear you need to have for camp.  I think there is also a good list on the Troop website, but this is from my personal files.
Please make sure you pack everything in a sturdy backpack, duffel bag or footlocker!  No trash-bags or recycled grocery totes!  Personal camp chairs are the exception. All this gear will be loaded into the troop trailer Sunday morning and our Quartermaster will not help you clean up your Yu-gi-oh cards when they spill!
You will also need to have a durable daypack for the week.  (I don't recommend 'string bags' as they wear on the shoulders pretty quickly.)  This bag and its contents should NOT be packed in with your main backpack/duffle/footlocker.  This bag will ride with you in the car to camp on Sunday.  When we arrive, we'll have swim tests and a tour of the camp so there won't be time to fish stuff out of the trailer!
You should have the following in this daypack:
10 essentials ( list is in your Scout book)

1.       1 or 2 empty 24 oz or larger water bottles (Nalgene or other durable bottle)
